Every building in Israel needs a permit, and the permit hinges on dozens of Israeli-standard codes and thousands of clauses. Today they're checked by hand, on 2D drawings. A missed defect caught at the committee costs months of delay, revision cycles — and the professional exposure of the people who sign. Under the self-permitting reform, sole liability for the plans' compliance shifts from the committee onto the architect and their consultants: a single defect, and they are the ones who must fix it — and answer for it.

TofesBIM was born from the field: a structural engineer who checked drawings against the code by hand, and knew the BIM model already holds every answer — if only a tool asked it the questions in Hebrew.
